Terms of Use

Updated: October 10, 2026

Welcome to Randel! Randel is an app that lets friends organize games, split players into teams, run tournaments and leagues, and keep track of results and ratings. Using the app is subject to these terms. When you create an account you will be asked to agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are and how to reach us

Randel is operated by Omry Arad ("we").

For questions, requests and reporting problems: randel.support@gmail.com.

2. Using the app

Randel is meant for personal and social use, to organize activities and games. Some features work without an account, but features that involve shared groups and syncing require signing in. Creating an account is for users aged 13 and over.

Use the app lawfully, respecting other users and their privacy.

3. User accounts

You are responsible for what is done with your account and for keeping your device and sign-in methods secure. Do not impersonate anyone, use an account without permission, or try to get around identification and permission mechanisms.

You can delete your account in the app settings, subject to the conditions and consequences set out in the Privacy Policy.

4. Groups and players

  • Users can create groups, invite friends, add players and run activities. Each group is managed according to the permissions set in it.
  • A group's owner and admins may carry out management actions according to their permissions, including managing members, players and invitations.
  • An invitation code or link lets someone join a group: share it only with people you want in the group. An account is linked to a player only through an invitation made for that player or with a group admin’s approval.
  • When you add other players, use names or nicknames you are allowed to share within the group. Do not enter sensitive personal information or information that is not needed for the activity.
  • A player who appears in a group is not necessarily a registered user.

5. Activities, results and ratings

Randel lets you create games, split teams, run tournaments and calculate ratings and statistics. Results are based on the information users enter and on the app’s calculation mechanisms, and there may be data-entry mistakes, changes in calculations or technical faults.

Team splits and ratings are for organizing games and social use. They are not a professional measure or a promise of any particular outcome.

6. Content users enter

Users are responsible for the content they add, such as players’ names, group and league names, and game results.

Do not use the app to harm others, impersonate, harass, publish unlawful content or infringe others’ rights. Do not try to access information you are not allowed to see, disrupt the service or get around its security mechanisms.

We may take reasonable measures against use that breaks these terms, as far as the law allows.

7. Information shared in groups

Information created in a group is shared with its members, including players’ names and results. Leaving a group or deleting an account does not necessarily delete shared results and game history: such information may remain in the group so it can carry on, in line with the Privacy Policy and the permissions that apply to it.

8. Exporting data and deleting your account

You can export data in the app settings. The export is meant to keep a copy of the information available to you, and does not guarantee that it can be imported back into the app.

Deleting an account is final and may cause loss of information that cannot be restored. Deleting your account also deletes a group you are the only member of, with its activities and results. Before deleting, export what you want to keep. More details are in the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability of the service

We work to improve Randel and keep it running well, but there may be faults, outages, sync problems or changes to features. The service is provided as is (AS IS), with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or recovery of lost information. Export information that matters to you from time to time.

10. Changes to the app

We may add, change or remove features to improve the experience, keep the service secure or adapt it to changing needs. When a material change affects users’ rights or how information is used, we will update you as the circumstances and the law require.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Randel is not liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from use of the service. Nothing here excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

12. Privacy

Use of personal information is subject to the Randel Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. Please read it to understand what information is kept, who can see it, and what happens when you delete an account.

13. Updating these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For a material change we will let you know and ask for your agreement again where required.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute relating to the use of the app will be heard by the competent courts in Israel, subject to applicable law and users’ rights that cannot be waived.
